Are you a passionate and skilled Town Planner looking to make a meaningful impact on urban development? We are representing a forward-thinking planning consultancy based in the heart of Reading, seeking a talented Town Planner to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert planning advice on a range of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and reports.
- Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to deliver successful planning outcomes.
- Contribute to the growth of the business by supporting the team on new opportunities and offering insight into the planning process.
- Stay up-to-date with local planning policies, regulations, and industry trends.
Skills & Experience Required:
- A degree in Town Planning (or related field) and MRTPI membership (or in the process of achieving).
- Proven experience in town planning within a consultancy, local authority, or private sector setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
