My client, an award-winning Planning Consultancy, is looking for an experience Town Planner to join the continued and ever-expanding planning team in Reading!

About the Role as a Town Planner

  • Provide high-quality planning advice to a diverse range of clients.
  • Manage and prepare planning applications, appeals, and policy assessments.
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
  • Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups.
  • Support senior team members while also taking ownership of projects.
  • Contribute to business development and client relationships.

Requirements as a Town Planner

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI-accredited preferred).
  • Proven experience in a planning consultancy or local authority role.
  • Ambition to achieve or progress towards RTPI chartered status (if not already).
