Legal 500 FirmAgricultural and Rural PropertySolicitor 2-5PQEReadingMy client is a leading Thames Valley law firm located in the centre of Reading, providing services for a wide range of clients, from multi-national companies to small family businesses.The team are currently looking to recruit a 2-5 years PQE solicitor to join their growing team. The team is looking for a solicitor who can build their experience working collaboratively on rural matters, whilst also running your own caseload. This may include more straightforward commercial property transactions should you so wish. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an interest in the rural sector and an affinity with the team's clients and contacts. As part of the role, you will work across a range of work-types, which will include more traditional agricultural property work along with assisting clients with all manner of diversification projects. Clients will span many areas to attract your interest and you will advise and assist on a wide range of matters connected with rural land including sales and acquisitions of agricultural land and buildings, drafting overage provisions, farm-related tenancy issues including succession rights and surrenders, wayleaves and easements, property development/investment work, renewable energy projects and more. You may, from time to time, also get involved in supporting the wider commercial property team. You will receive good supervision and training, with the opportunity in time to build a name for yourself in a rewarding and specialist discipline.
