Are you an experienced Commercial Property Development Solicitor looking for a new challenge in a prestigious, top-tier law firm?

Our client, a highly regarded Legal 500, full-service commercial law firm in the Thames Valley, is seeking a Property Development Solicitor (5+ PQE) to join its dynamic and growing team in Reading.

Your Role:

You will handle a broad range of commercial property development matters, including:

  • Acquisition & disposal of development land
  • Planning & infrastructure agreements (including CIL contributions)
  • Secured lending & development finance
  • Site set-up for residential and commercial disposals
  • Easements, covenants & non-contentious construction agreements
  • Sales & purchases of residential property (acting unsupervised)
  • Advising on SDLT and property tax implications

What We’re Looking For?

  • 5+ years' PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive in property development or commercial property
  • Strong technical expertise in land acquisitions, planning and secured finance
  • Ability to work independently and manage high-value transactions
  • Ambition to develop the firm's property development offering with marketing & business development support
