Contentious Probate Solicitor - Leading Thames Valley Law FirmLocation: Reading, Henley-on-Thames, or WokinghamPQE: NQ - 2 yearsA well-established Thames Valley law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Contentious Probate Solicitor (NQ - 2 years PQE) to join its highly regarded Contentious Probate team. With a reputation for excellence in legal services, the firm is committed to delivering outstanding client care and maintaining long-term relationships. It has been recognised with numerous rankings, nominations, and awards, and has held the Law Society's Lexcel quality mark.This role forms part of the firm's Dispute Resolution department, which is ranked in both The Legal 500 and Chambers UK Guide. The successful candidate will primarily focus on contentious probate matters, working closely with an experienced team led by a highly regarded specialist with over 25 years of expertise in handling contentious probate claims for both charities and private clients. Due to the continued success and expansion of this practice area, the team is now recruiting for two new positions.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing an agreed caseload of contentious probate matters under the guidance of experienced partners.
  • Handling client cases efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Providing exceptional client care and ensuring clients are fully informed of the firm's services.
  • Managing telephone and email enquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Supporting business development and networking initiatives to contribute to the firm's growth.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds at least a 2:1 degree.
  • Has an ACTAPS qualification (preferred).
  • Is enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed to excellence.
