Our client is a multinational consumer goods corporation; specializing in a wide range of personal care and hygiene products; organized into several segments including Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric & Home Care; and Baby and Feminine care.

Global Brand Protection is the function which protects our business and consumers from counterfeit products. The function has a Brand Protection Manager in each key clients region supported by a Global Centre of Excellence in Reading, UK where this position it to be based.

The successful candidate for this work experience role will be a Law student/graduate with a core interest in Intellectual Property Law who can start and complete a series of short-term special projects within the defined period. The special projects will enhance the strategic work and impact of the Global Brand Protection program.

  • They should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication competencies and be able to work within a specialist, multi-skilled, diverse, professional team environment.
  • They should be able to display maturity, confidence, agility, and efficiency in managing their time to deliver tasks to deadlines and be able to think astutely and creatively when they are required to consider a situation and/or solve a problem.
  • IT literacy and attention to accuracy and detail is critical in all aspects of the role.
