This is an interim position for an Intellectual Property Lawyer to join a growing business based in Berkshire.

Description

The Intellectual Property Counsel position based in Berkshire will involve the following tasks:

  • Assist with managing the IP portfolio
  • Draft, negotiate and review IP, Software and Licensing agreements
  • Provide legal advice to support proposed deals
  • Provide advice around patents, trademarks and copyright issues
  • Collaborate with the wider legal and operational teams

Profile

The successful candidate for the Intellectual Property Counsel position will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Have a strong background working within Intellectual Property
  • Experience of negotiating IP licences
  • Experience of handling software licences and Saas agreements
  • Strong knowledge of patents, trademarks and Copyright law
  • Experience of working on cases outside of the UK would be an advantage
  • Have excellent communication skills
