This is an Interim role for a Legal Contractor to join an International business with offices based in Reading.

Description
The successful candidate for the Legal Contractor role will hold the following responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for legal queries across all internal departments
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts
- Meet with clients to negotiate terms
- Analyse, interpret, and implement company policies and procedures
- Ensure corporate compliance and manage risk efficiently
- Participate in strategic decision-making processes
- Ensure work is delegated out within the small team
- Collaborate with external legal advisers when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments
- Handle other legal matters as required
Profile
The successful candidate for the Legal Contractor role will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Be a qualified solicitor
- Have extensive experience in contract review and negotiation
- Have previous experience of working in an In-house legal function
- Experience of working within the financial services or professional services sector is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritise effectively
Job Offer
- This is an Interim role for a minimum of 3 months, but with a strong possibility of extension.
- Hybrid working- 2 days in the office per week
