Service Care Solutions is working with a Local Authority, based in Berkshire, which is in need of aSenior Education Lawyerto join theirAdult Social Care and Education team. In this role you will handle education legislation, in particular special education needs.

ROLE: Senior Education Lawyer
LOCATION: Berkshire hybrid working (office attendance roughly once per month)
RATE: £55-£60ph
CONTRACT: 3 months, 37 hours a week

The Role:
  • To manage a full caseload from inception to completion related to Education Law matters.
  • Cases will include SEN appeals, general education advice and judicial reviews.
  • Conduct special education needs appeals and to provide advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
The Person
  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with at least 3 years of PQE within Education Law.
  • Ideally have previous experience of working within a Local Authority or Public Body.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge in key education legislation.
