This firm has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including many blue-chip organisations.The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented solicitor to work within a forward-thinking team that handles the full spectrum of employment law. Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on contentious and non-contentious matters, including disciplinary issues, dismissals, TUPE, redundancies, and discrimination claims.
- Managing Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal litigation.
- Providing employment law support on corporate transactions, including due diligence, TUPE, and warranties/indemnities.
- Delivering high-quality training seminars and workshops for employer clients.
- Handling employment terminations, settlement agreements, and related tax implications.
- Conducting advocacy before employment tribunals and courts.
- Exploring opportunities to gain experience in immigration and data protection issues.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will:
- Have 7+ years PQE with broad experience in all aspects of employment law.
- Be skilled in Employment Tribunal litigation and corporate transactional support.
- Possess strong legal analysis, drafting, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Be commercially minded, confident in offering pragmatic advice, and comfortable taking a viewpoint.
- Have experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.
- Be proactive in business development and promoting the firm's services.
- Be able to work independently on complex, high-profile cases with minimal supervision.
