Senior Paralegal – Special Educational Needs (SEN) Law

Are you an experienced Senior Paralegal with a passion for Special Educational Needs (SEN) law? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, full-service law firm in Reading, specialising in Education Law and Clinical Negligence.

The Role:

As a Senior Paralegal – SEN Specialist, you will:?? Advise and support parents on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and school placement disputes?? Represent clients in SEND Tribunal hearings, appeals and mediation?? Work closely with local authorities, schools and medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children with special educational needs?? Draft and prepare legal documents, including appeals, witness statements and case summaries?? Stay updated on SEN regulations, education law and disability rights

About You:

? Experienced Paralegal with some background in SEN law and education disputes? Knowledge of EHCPs, SEND Tribunal procedures and education legislation? Excellent client care and advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex caseloads? Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with parents, schools and local authorities? Experience in working within Education Law, Public Law, or related areas
