Senior Legal Assistant, Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts - Reading town centre - office based

Our client is a leading law firm who offers a fantastic work environment and career opportunities. They are now seeking an experienced legal Assistant with a strong interest or experience in Wills, Probate and Trusts to join their busy team.

Your role:

  • Processing clients' cases on a timely and cost-effective basis

  • Assisting solicitors in the team and deal with tasks as delegated

  • Undertaking drafting and legal research, file administration and data management

  • Maintaining the highest professional standards in accordance with the firm's objectives and comply with the firm's quality standards

  • Keeping clients fully informed of the range of services that the firm offers

The person:

  • Have at least a 2.1 degree.

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts

  • Have proficient knowledge of MS Word and other Office products and ideally experience of working with a practice management system or large database

  • Be enthusiastic, flexible and efficient with a helpful and friendly manner

  • Be a good team player with willingness to offer support to others in the team

  • Share and embody our values of excellence, integrity and approachability
