Summary:

The Permit Officer will be accountable to the M&E Permit Office Lead for overseeing the day-to-day control and authorisation of Mechanical and Electrical Safety documents. This role requires ensuring compliance with the Permit Office Procedure and Key Control Process, maintaining records, and promoting high standards in environment, safety, health, security, and quality. The Permit Officer will issue, sign back, and manage permits and safety documents on site, ensuring that all activities adhere to relevant quality and performance standards. Additionally, the role involves providing _front of house_ services and acting as a gatekeeper for safety codes and procedures. The Permit Officer will also be responsible for training personnel on processes and ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.
