Hours Full-Time (37 hours)
Primary Purpose of Role
Handover responsibilities from outgoing Logistics Co-ordinator, providing support where needed and ensuring the processes and procedures are clear to mitigate single-point-of-failure.
To provide effective management of TAS UK's customs procedures and declarations by working closely with the project teams in order to understand the reason for each import/export. Ensuring that TAS UK remains compliant with an customs procedure authorisations.
Assist with the management of the Trade Compliance program at TAS UK and provide cover when the Trade Compliance Manager is absent.

Key Responsibilities and tasks
• Manage Logistics – arrange shipments/collections/deliveries on-site and overseas, arrange quotations, prepare shipping invoices, customs clearance instructions, liaise with freight forwarders etc
• Good-in, receipting, limited stock management on-site
• Management and set up of customs procedure authorisations
• Work with project teams and Commercial team to ensure correct incoterms are in place
• Liaise with procurement and projects to make sure correct customs procedures are used for export/import
• Manage all Trade Support Service movements and queries
• Manage Intrastat declarations if required for imports/exports from Belfast
• Ensure correct export control documentation is in place for exports
• Updating of export control information assigned to parts when either internally classified or notified by a supplier.
• Cover for Trade Compliance Manager when absent – review of travel requests, check of shipping documentation.

Experience and Skills
• Experience working with Customs declarations and procedures
• Experience of applying for and managing various customs procedures
• Experience of UK and other Export Controls
Education & Qualifications
• UK Customs Academy qualifications or similar preferable
• Word/MS Office/Excel applications
• Valid Driving Licence and Passport
• Must meet criteria to work on UK Secure Programmes
