Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise the supply chain process.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements.
- Oversee the procurement budget, cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry-related regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with other departments for smooth inter-departmental operations.
- Monitor market trends and make recommendations for procurement decisions.
- Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
Profile
A successful Procurement Manager should have:
- Proven track record in a procurement management role, ideally in a similar industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Excellent understanding of the Automotive/ Manufacturing industry.
