A distinguished organisation within the Defence sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to enhance their team in Aldermaston for a 12 month contract.

As a Senior Contract Manager, you will take a pivotal role in driving contractual excellence, ensuring compliance with public procurement policies, and navigating the complexities of the defence and security sectors.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as a subject matter expert, and establish trusted industry alliances to enhance supplier relationships.

Key Accountabilities
  • Building a highly skilled contract management team to meet organisational goals.
  • Leading contract negotiations and developing strategies to mitigate risks while enhancing contracting models.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive Contract Management Plans to monitor performance, risks, and reviews.
  • Driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to mitigate risks, manage performance, and unlock value.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establishing strong relationships with internal and external partners, including government stakeholders.
  • Ensuring contracts comply with safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
  • Monitoring supplier risks and implementing corrective action plans where needed.
  • Driving the implementation of supplier strategies and SRM frameworks.

  • MCIPs or equivalent qualification
