An excellent opportunity has arisen within this leading, global manufacturing company for a Maintenance Engineer working days within one of its state of the art facilities in Reading.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Maintenance Manager the role of Maintenance Engineer will suit a multi-skilled engineer with experience of working on Conveyors and plant production machinery. Responsibilities include:
- Daily maintenance of plant equipment
- Maintenanceof PLC controlled machines
- Conveyor maintenance
- Run inpections of machinery to instruct service.
THE PERSON
The role of Maintenance Engineer will suit an engineer with experience of working in a manufacturing or production environment with experience of PLC faultfinding. You will need to be able to commute daily to Reading so Newbury, Wokingham, Bracknell etc are ideal locations to live. You will need to be keen to develop your skills and have the ability to work on your own and within a small team. You will need a technical qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering.
