On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Trainee Service Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and functionality of their equipment. Responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of catering equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer focused approach.

Trainee Service Engineer - Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance on quick service catering equipment such as display units, grills, burners, and fryers, concession equipment etc. Not including gas or refrigeration.
- Installation of such equipment.
- Travel to locations such as restaurants, cinemas and takeaways.
- Carry out planned & reactive maintenance.
- Fault finding/diagnosis.
- Repair and advise.
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the job duration.
- Always provide excellent customer service.
Trainee Service Engineer - Requirements
- Relevant HND/HNC or formal electrical qualification.
- Background knowledge in commercial or electrical maintenance.
- Full UK driving license.
- Willing to travel in & around London.
- Willing to travel abroad.
- A friendly & helpful personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Able to work alone & unsupervised.
- Able to complete documents accurately & on time.
- Some experience as field technician (preferred).
- Good electrical & mechanical skills.
