JOB – Maintenance Manager LOCATION – West Berkshire TERM- PermanentSALARY - £40,000 - £48,000, dependent on experienceMy client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team in West Berkshire on a permanent basis.The Maintenance Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar Maintenance role
  • Experienced working with pressure systems / plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage asset lifecycle plans
  • Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
  • Come from a Mechanical background
  • Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
  • Able to work safely and methodically
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
The Maintenance Manager role will involve:
  • Improving and maintaining plant equipment and manufacturing machinery
  • Managing the maintenance team
  • Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
  • PPM and breakdown avoidance
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
  • Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
  • Working with others and being an excellent team player
  • Monitoring and improving quality standards
  • Assisting colleagues with any engineering or manufacturing issues that may arise
