Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC equipment
- Provide technical advice and support to customers
- Keep accurate records of work carried out
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in air conditioning and refrigeration
- Valid F-Gas Certification
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
Education:
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or vocational training in air conditioning engineering
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition for manual handling tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in HVAC systems
- Experience working with commercial HVAC units
Working Conditions:
This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, depending on the location of the air conditioning systems.
