Description

  • Carry out engineering tasks to meet order deadlines, manage hours against estimates, and ensure design work meets customer and commercial requirements.
  • Create and check drawings, perform strength calculations for pressure vessels, and maintain engineering records and product documentation.
  • Enter parts and Bills of Material into SAP, following company guidelines and external standards.
  • Conduct site visits to measure and assess filters for replacement in the field.
  • Provide support to the commercial team by producing sales sketches and offering technical advice to resolve manufacturing issues.

Profile

  • Typically requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental principles of pressure vessel design.
  • Proficiency in drafting and modelling using 2D and 3D software packages.
  • Basic understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural hand calculations.
  • Strong familiarity with MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
