The company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position in West Berkshire.
The salary for this role ranges from £40,000 to £48,000, depending on experience.
Candidates should have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in an Engineering discipline, along with a mechanical background.
Experience with plant equipment in the Oil & Gas or Energy industries is preferred, as well as knowledge of electrical equipment.
The role involves working in a team to maintain manufacturing machinery and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

JOB – Maintenance Engineer LOCATION – West Berkshire TERM- PermanentSALARY - £40,000 - £48,000, dependent on experienceMy client designs and manufactures products and systems within the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in West Berkshire on a permanent basis. The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
Come from a Mechanical background
Knowledge of Electrical equipment and installations
Ideally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries
Able to work safely and methodically
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work

The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machinery
Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
PPM and breakdown avoidance
Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
Working with others and being an excellent team player
Monitoring and improving quality standards
Assisting colleagues with any engineering or manufacturing issues that may arise
