The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a world-leading, nuclear defense client.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Deliver mechanical engineering designs that address defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle, to a high standard.
  • Ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the lifecycle, liaising with other discipline areas to ensure overall design intent is maintained.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Assurance Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ESH&Q) and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure application of standards is proportionate and that engineering best practice is adopted.
  • Elevate areas of concern to the relevant Principal Engineer.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Relevant experience in highly regulated, high-hazard industries before submission.
  • experience in Nuclear, Aviation, or Rail industries will also be considered if they can demonstrate transferable skills.
