WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

My client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with SC clearance to join their dynamic team and work on Mission Critical Nuclear Projects.

WHAT WILL THE MECHANICAL ENGINEER BE DOING?

As Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Engineering team you will integrate multi-disciplinary teams for projects in various phases, from FEED to commissioning, UK Wide Nuclear projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE…

  • Manage technical studies and design mechanical processes from strategic to detailed phases, providing deliverables such as technical notes, flow diagrams, drawings, and hazard management.
  • Conduct technical studies on mechanical handling, including operations and transfer systems, powder processes in high active environments, and compaction/dismantling technologies.
  • Network with company experts for technical collaboration.

YOU WILL NEED…

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience on UK nuclear sites.
  • Member of a relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering design, team management, and mechanical studies in nuclear or regulated sectors.
  • Active SC Clearance
