An exciting opportunity at a leading manufacturer has hit the market; our client is hiring for a Project Engineer (Mechanical Design) based in Reading.
Main responsibilities of the Project Engineer (Mechanical Design), based in Reading:
- Manage projects and budgets
- Review and understand customer requirements
- Review and understand contractual agreements and ensure the company is meeting those agreements
- Identify any contract risks and conduct risk assessments
- Create project plans
- Work to military standards
- Conduct mechanical designs (concept development)
Requirements of the (Mechanical Design) based in Reading:
- Has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or designing electro-mechanical systems
- Has experience working in the aerospace and defence industry
- Experienced in using AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent 3D CAD Software
