About the Job -

  • Provide technical leadership in engineering analyses, prioritizing general engineering skills and client management, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Conduct advanced analyses using COMSOL Multiphysics and other relevant software, covering thermal, hydraulics, and mechanical domains, to develop reliable solutions.
  • Design robust structures and components using CAD software, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and assist in creating schematic diagrams (e.g., BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs).
  • Independently generate technical documents such as scopes of work, design descriptions, and progress reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Implement Project and System Engineering Management processes, ensuring effective scope, cost, schedule, and risk management throughout projects.
  • Manage project contracts, oversee activities, and ensure adherence to plans, maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

About you -

  • Master of Science or equivalent qualification, in one of the following areas: mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, chemical engineering, physics.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field with exposure to nuclear technology desirable and understanding of fusion systems strongly desirable.
  • Proficiency in thermo-hydraulics, thermo-mechanical modelling, and multiphysics simulation.
  • Expertise in commercial Multiphysics modelling software tools like COMSOL Multiphysics, ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, ANSYS Mechanical.
  • Knowledge of main codes and standards (e.g., RCC-MRx, ASME sec. VIII).
