Role Overview:

As a Data Centre Engineer at EMCOR UK, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and delivering a service within our large-scale account for AWE. You will be responsible for providing and delivering a professional and efficient service on the contract. Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and Equipment, Document and support the corrective actions identified Mechanical and Electrical. Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring they conform to the site procedures and agreed safety documentation.

What you will do:

  • Conduct and record preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis of critical plant and
  • Equipment, Document and support the corrective actions identified Mechanical and Electrical
  • Support and facilitate specialist subcontractors/vendors during planned, reactive or project tasks while ensuring they conform to the site procedures and agreed safety documentation.
  • Monitor, maintain, investigate and acknowledge the BMS and SCADA systems.
  • Undertake daily site checks to note and proactively repair any defects and to maintain plant rooms in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
  • Rectify and record defects through the helpdesk to ensure SLA timeframes are always met.

What you will need:

Essential

  • Strong Mechanical and/or Electrical Knowledge & experience
  • Good knowledge of Generators, Cooling systems and UPS systems
  • Hold a valid UK driving license

Desired

  • SC/DV Clearance
  • Served a full Technical Apprenticeship and hold a technical qualification (C&G,
  • HNC, ONC etc)
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 Test & Inspect
  • Good understanding of LV distribution systems
  • Critical site experience or Data centre experience
  • Knowledge of CMMS
