- Respond to maintenance alerts and potential issues proactively. Address defects, breakdowns, and operational changes promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations. This may require troubleshooting mechanical issues, making temporary repairs, or escalating to more senior staff as needed.
- Work closely with the operations and technical teams to assess plant performance and resolve defects. Provide clear, concise information to relevant managerial and technical staff about any ongoing issues, repairs, or modifications being made to plant equipment.
- Provide out-of-hours support when necessary including being part of an out of hours on call rota. This may involve emergency call-outs to attend to breakdowns or defects, requiring flexibility in working hours. Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, working autonomously and collaboratively as needed.
