ROLE – Assembly Technician LOCATION - ReadingTERM - PermanentSALARY- £23,000 - £29,000 per annum, dependent on experienceMy client designs and manufactures bespoke products in the Automotive industry, and they are looking to take on an Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position, based in Reading.The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

Ideally be experienced building high precision products
Keen interest in Motorsport and Automotive industries
Knowledge of pipes, hoses, valves, pumps and similar equipment would be beneficial
Mechanical background in a workshop environment
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Team player

The Assembly Technician role will involve:

Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
Pressure testing fluid transfer products
Working to project specifications and deadlines
Participating in technical training
Working to procedures and instructions
Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
