Instrumentation Laboratory Technician

Role: Instrumentation Laboratory Technician

Location: Caversham, Reading

Salary: £12.52 per hours (On-going temporary role)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 3.30pm (to help avoid the traffic)

We have a position available for a recent science graduate or person with an interest in science. The role involves assisting in the disassembling, cleaning, and maintenance of a wide range of water quality monitoring equipment. In addition, you will assist in the operation of our quality system. This is an ongoing temporary position. This is a great opportunity to learn more about environmental monitoring equipment. We are looking to get people started ASAP. All training will be provided; however some existing science related experience is essential.

Requirements

  • Scientific qualifications (A Level and onwards)
  • Problem Solver
  • Dexterity
  • Able to commute to Caversham

Preferable but not essential

  • Laboratory or workshop experience

Successful candidate must complete a DBS check.

Seeking candidates with an interest in water quality and environmental science. Excellent opportunity for a recent graduate of University or A-levels, looking for long term commitment to the role.
