Ward Manager ( RMN or RNLD )
£45,000 per annum

Permanent - Full Time 37.5 hours
This role is mainly from Monday to Friday (Apply online only).The occasional weekend and/or night working may be required to provide supervision to the night staff you will be expected to participate in the on-call rota for the service.

Overview:
Appoint Healthcare are proud to partner with an extremely reputable leading national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs. We are looking for an experienced RMN or RNLD at either Senior Nurse or Deputy Ward Manager looking for the next step in their career, or an existing Ward Manager looking for a new opportunity, this will be to work in a Specialist Mental Health Service for adults with severe and enduring mental health conditions.


Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN or RNLD  )

  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals

  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK

  • Strong team-working skills

  • Highly organised and perform well under pressure


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a highly skilled and motivated workforce through recruitment, selection, development and performance management processes.

  • Ensure the effective and efficient management and control of staffing, budgets, materials and equipment.

  • Promote an effective working relationship across the multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure clinical services comply with statutory regulations and current legislation, meet quality standards and deliver against key performance indicators.

  • Managing the effective implementation of clinical interventions and treatment designed to enhance the operation and quality of clinical services evaluating through clinical governance and audit.
