What You’ll Be Doing:
Join a dynamic therapy team within an acute general rehabilitation setting, providing essential support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. In this role, you will:
- Carry out comprehensive functional assessments
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
- Support patients in regaining independence and function
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
- Provide discharge planning and home assessments
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation
Requirements & Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates will need:
- Current and valid HCPC registration
- Proven experience in acute/general rehabilitation settings
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Previous NHS or UK-based occupational therapy experience (essential)
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role is offered on a full-time basis, though part-time applicants are also welcomed. The contract is ongoing, with the potential for extension depending on service needs and performance.
