What You’ll Be Doing:

Join a dynamic therapy team within an acute general rehabilitation setting, providing essential support to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. In this role, you will:

  • Carry out comprehensive functional assessments
  • Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation plans
  • Support patients in regaining independence and function
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
  • Provide discharge planning and home assessments
  • Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation

Requirements & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, candidates will need:

  • Current and valid HCPC registration
  • Proven experience in acute/general rehabilitation settings
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Previous NHS or UK-based occupational therapy experience (essential)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is offered on a full-time basis, though part-time applicants are also welcomed. The contract is ongoing, with the potential for extension depending on service needs and performance.
