As the Director of Public Health, you will lead the improvement of health and wellbeing for residents reducing inequalities and protecting local communities from health hazards.
About your role as a Director of Public Health
- Management of the Public Health budget and grant funding, utilising resources imaginatively
- Management of the Public Health team including Consultants
- Influence change and enable a culture of continuous improvement
- Partnership working with other Strategic Directors of Public Health in neighbouring Boroughs
About you as an Assistant Director of Adult Social Care
- Relevant experience within a similar position
- Relevant Public Health qualification or registration such as UKPHR
- Ability to balance strategic leadership and operational management
- Experience of leading organisation change and transformation
