Thrive Group are recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers on a temporary to permanent assignment, with a view to start immediately.
These are full time positions, working 06:00-17:00 OR 10:30-21:30, 4 days per week. These positions are paying between 14.59 and 15.04 per hour and are located in the Reading area
As part of a 2-person crew, you will deliver, assemble and install a wide range of home furnishings, electrical products and sports equipment, ensuring every delivery is made with the highest level of customer service. You will be responsible for completing daily vehicle checks and following correct defect reporting procedures. Loading the vehicle and checking your route, you will then undertake your deliveries and collections for the day alongside your colleague. Communication with your customers is key, upon arrival you will deliver the customers goods to their room of choice and undertake any services that have been booked. This could include installation and disconnection of white goods, assembly of flat packs and tv installations.
The ideal candidate for this position will hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points on their licence, hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card and have previous 7.5 Tonne driving experience. You will be able to effectively communicate with people and have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. You must be committed, disciplined and hard working.
