Vanta Staffing is seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver for a client in the Reading area, focusing on multi-drop delivery of large items.
The ideal candidate should have Cat C1 experience, a valid CPC and Tacho card, and the ability to work in a team for manual handling tasks.
The position offers a salary of £14.59 per hour, increasing to £15.04 per hour, with a flexible schedule of 4 shifts per week.
Candidates must complete an assessment and have no more than 6 points on their driving license, with no DR or IN endorsements.
This role is a temporary to permanent position, with start times at either 06:00 am or 10:30 am.

7.5 Tonne Driver

Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve multi drop delivery work, you will be working in a team of two, delivering large items such as flat pack, sofas, fridge freezer etc. This will be a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

Cat C1 - Experience is ideal, but not essential
A valid CPC and Tacho card(s)
Be able to complete multi drop of large items in a team of two (Manual Handling will be involved)
Will need to complete an assessment
No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)

Details:

Salary: £14.59ph / £ 15.04ph
Working hours: 4 shifts a week out of 7 - Start times - 06.00am or 10.30am start
Location: Reading
Duration: Temp to Perm

Role of a 7.5 Tonne Driver:

Complete multi drop deliveries in the South East area
Complete vehicle checks and paperwork correctly
Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
You may be required to do London driving
