Purpose of the job:

To be responsible for safe and proper handling, transferring and disposal of recyclable, hazardous and waste materials brought into the site by members of the public and legal traders. And the attendance of the site follow the Operating procedure as described by the service provisions, with the specification being the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead as required; complying with all contract conditions and management instructions as they affect the work area, e.g. Standards of work performance, Quality Assurance (QA) BS EN ISO 9001:2, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 requirements, Health and Safety regulations, Environmental Protection Act (EPA) provisions, etc

Your Role:

  • To assist in the opening and closing of the site as described in the working plan.
  • To assist members of the public in directions and disposal areas for waste.
  • Maintain quality standards in accordance ISO specification, and as required by your line Manager.
  • Ensure the safe use, operation, storage of plant used.
  • To assist in other areas of the Civic Amenity site and Municipal operation as and when required.

Assignment Details:

  • Working Shift Pattern: 8 hours shift, 5 of 7 days Mon-Sun. 09:00-18:00, 1 hour lunch
  • Pay rate: £13.60
