An outstanding educational institution in Reading is seeking a dedicated Geography and History Teacher to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality education in both Geography and History to enthusiastic students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography and History lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Stay updated with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
- Recognised teaching qualification in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching Geography and History in a UK school.
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and educational standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Competitive daily rate up to £180.
