Sonic Summary

Our client, a small Payroll Bureau, is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a permanent position.
The role involves processing monthly and weekly payrolls, handling statutory year-end returns, and addressing employee payroll queries.
Candidates should have experience with Sage, and both client and in-house payroll backgrounds are welcome.
The position offers a salary of £48,870 and requires relevant payroll experience, ideally with a focus on statutory payments and auto-enrolment pensions.

Our client, a small Payroll Bureau are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities will include:

Process and submit monthly and weekly payrolls including statutory year end returns and P60s.
Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating all payroll processes.
Deal with employee salary and payroll queries.
Maintain and update static payroll data as per business requirements.
Liaise with HM Revenue and Customs where necessary.
Process all statutory payments as appropriate i.e. SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP.
Full responsibility of auto-enrolment pension.
Maintain client and employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Experience with Sage would be highly desirable. They are happy with candidates coming from either a client background or inhouse payroll background
