Compliance Manager

Reed Scientific is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company committed to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship. We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth and success.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, research laboratories and the office. This a very rewarding and varied role and comes with excellent benefits and the opportunity to take the helm at a growing company leading them into a new era of growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations
  • Oversee compliance-related business operations
  • Design and monitor control systems for legal and policy violations
  • Assess and improve control systems
  • Review procedures and reports to identify risks
  • Coordinate with department managers on compliance policies
  • Perform periodic audits
  • Advise management on compliance through detailed reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., chemistry, engineering, environmental science)
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or similar role in the chemical manufacturing industry
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and certifications
  • Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Experience with ISO 9001/14001 accreditation is highly desirable
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to the site daily
