We are partnering with a leading life insurance provider renowned for its commitment to customer care and service excellence. They are modern, forward-thinking firm that pride themselves on being innovative thinkers within the industry. Due to continued growth and a focus on quality, they are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company adheres to all regulatory requirements and industry best practices. As the Compliance Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the company's compliance program, ensuring alignment with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Regularly liaise with Senior Executives across the board/group, including reporting of monitoring reviews and outcomes.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps and recommend/implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of company policies and changes and ensuring staff are made aware of these.
  • Correcting any actions that require attention.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry trends, and best practices, advising senior leadership on the potential impacts on operations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to employees.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior member of a Compliance team within the life insurance, health and protection or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of current FCA regulations, consumer duty and upcoming changes that will affect this sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Relevant life insurance industry qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
