This is an ongoing Interim position for a Contracts Specialist to join a large business with offices based near Reading.

Description
The Contracts Specialist position based near Reading will involve the following tasks:
- Liaising with Legal Teams and central functions including supporting the deployment of new contract templates
- Liaise with suppliers to support internal stakeholders with complex contract negotiations
- Participating in contract writing and contract execution
- Selecting the correct contract templates for use in creating a contract, amending clauses where necessary
- Ensuring local contracts comply with master/global agreements
- Understanding business objectives and requirements
- Working with the relevant market sector and managers to implement source-to-contract processes
- Working with internal customers, and providing guidance on processes and risk management.
- Undertake training sessions for internal stakeholders on contract clauses
Profile
The successful candidate for the Contract Specialist position will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A strong background of reviewing and negotiating contracts
- Be able to draft amendments and terms
- A strong understanding of procurement contracts
- Excellent communication skills
- Good attention to detail
Job Offer
This is an Interim position for an initial period of 6 months but with a high chance of continuous extension.
