Interim Contract Specialist £320pd

Role: Interim Contract Specialist

Rate: £320 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: FTSE 100 Energy Organisation

Duration: 6 months

Location: Hybrid working from home, 60% of time in Berkshire

An Interim opportunity to join a world-leading Energy organisation as a Contract specialist, supporting their major retail business.

You will liaise with senior stakeholders to understand specific contracting requirements in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, shaping Global Operations Team's contracting plans and priorities.

Actively participating in complex business projects, you will liaise across Legal Teams and the centralised Procurement Function on contract standards and specifics, supporting the deployment of brand-new contract templates.

You will map business objectives and requirements, and implement Source-to-Contract processes. You will ensure that processes and digital tools are implemented and improved.

You will share knowledge and lessons learned at company networks and run training sessions for senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of contracts processes, tools and systems.
  • Contracts experience within Directs supply sector and a good understanding of clauses and T&Cs.
  • Legal or Procurement background (ideally both).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement ability, at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience delivering and supporting sourcing processes within a blue-chip, global, matrix organisation.
