MERJE is seeking a highly experienced Product & Propositions Governance Manager for a leading Insurance company. This critical role will embed and manage a robust product oversight and governance framework, balancing commercial growth with regulatory compliance and customer outcomes.
£80,000 - £90,000
Location: Hybrid working with travel to head office approximately twice per month.

The Role
As Product & Propositions Governance Manager, you'll drive the effectiveness of the governance framework, ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting commercial ambitions. You'll collaborate with various teams, provide guidance on risk-related matters, and champion regulatory compliance across the Customer Experience & Commercial function.
Key Responsibilities of the Product & Propositions Governance Manager:
- Manage and embed the Product Governance and Oversight Framework
- Drive compliance and effective risk-based decision making
- Own and run the Product, Propositions and Services Committee
- Develop key metrics to evidence good customer outcomes
- Deliver effective training on the governance framework
Required knowledge and experience for the Product & Propositions Governance Manager role:
- Extensive risk and compliance experience in a commercial setting
- Strong understanding of General Insurance Financial Services regulatory environment
- Practical experience implementing commercial governance processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver results in complex organisations
