About Us:We are working on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school located in Reading, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for young learners. They believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child, supporting their development through a play-based approach in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Class Teacher to join the passionate team and make a positive impact on the lives of pupils.

The Role:As the EYFS Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive, engaging, and challenging classroom environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with a dedicated team of teaching staff and support workers to implement the EYFS curriculum, encouraging each child to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning. This is a full-time position, available for an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Support children's development, observing and assessing their progress to tailor learning activities to their needs.
  • Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where each child feels valued and encouraged.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to promote a holistic approach to learning and development.
  • Encourage a love of learning by promoting curiosity, creativity, and independence in each child.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Previous experience teaching in an EYFS setting, ideally in a primary school environment.
  • Passionate about early childhood education with a commitment to helping young learners reach their potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to start as soon as possible and quickly adapt to our school community.
