Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing engaging writing lessons that inspire and challenge our students. You will work closely with colleagues to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality writing lessons for Year 5 students.
- Develop lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and foster a love of writing.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 5 or similar age group.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for writing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
