A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a leading, Chambers-ranked Legal 200 firm in Reading. This firm is recognised for its outstanding service and legal expertise in Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and related Private Client matters.

As part of the firm's ongoing growth and succession planning, the team is now looking to recruit a motivated and organised Private Client Paralegal to support senior Fee Earners and begin developing your own files under supervision.

The Role:

You will be working within a friendly and supportive Private Client team, currently consisting of four Fee Earners. You will assist with a varied caseload of private client work and be responsible for managing straightforward probate matters independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the administration of estates, including drafting probate applications, collecting assets, paying liabilities and distributing funds
  • Preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) under supervision
  • Drafting client correspondence, legal documentation and reports using firm precedents
  • Ensuring case files are kept in good order and up to date
  • Supporting with billing processes and completing BACS forms
  • Conducting legal research and assisting Fee Earners with more complex matters

About You:

? Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Private Client Paralegal? Confident handling basic probate work independently? Strong attention to detail, with excellent drafting and file management skills? Proactive team player with excellent communication and organisational abilities? Genuine interest in building a long-term career in Private Client Law
