Sales Support

Our client based in central Reading is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Support professional to join the team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and operations teams by handling contractor management, invoicing, timesheet processing, and general administrative tasks.

As a Sales Support professional, you will assist the sales team by providing essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the recruitment and billing processes. You will be responsible for managing timesheet portals, handling invoicing for both contract and permanent placements, and chasing overdue invoices, all while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage timesheet portals, ensuring contractors submit timesheets accurately and on time.
  • Process and manage invoicing for both contract and permanent placements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Chase outstanding invoices and follow up with clients to ensure payments are made promptly.
  • Provide effective contractor management, offering support and addressing contractor queries.
  • Maintain and update contractor and client records.
  • Use Excel to track data, generate reports, and monitor billing and payments.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, assisting with various ad-hoc tasks and queries.
  • Ensure that all invoicing and contract details are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably within a recruitment agency.
  • Proven experience working with timesheet portals and invoicing systems.
  • Strong understanding of contractor management processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including experience with spreadsheets and generating reports.
  • Experience with invoice chasing and managing outstanding payments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
