About the Company:

A leading manufacturer of Exterior Paint who is committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. They are looking to expand their dedicated team of Quality Control Operatives to help them meet increasing demand and maintain their high standards of production.

Job Summary:

As a Quality Control Operative , you will play a key role in the daily operations of our production facility. You will be responsible for conducting quality checks, testing products, data entry and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while ensuring the company polices are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Imputing data to Microsoft excel spreadsheets.
  • Organise and label files.
  • Have good customer service when customer facing.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor production processes and report any issues or irregularities to the supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and product quality.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in quality control processes.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for documentation and reporting.
  • The ability of using Microsoft Office and imputing data efficiently.
  • Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols in a factory setting.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience with quality control.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in a factory setting with varying temperatures and noise levels.
