Project Manager

Toro Recruitment is looking for a Multi-Utility Project Manager for a Multi-Utility infrastructure company working with industrial and commercial developers across the London & South Region. Your future employer is looking to add to their ever-growing Operations Team and is looking for candidates who have extensive Project Management experience within Electrical, Gas, Water, or Multi-Utility works and wish to progress their careers within the Utility sector.
We are keen to speak with candidates who have come from a utility background and have fully project-managed any of the below;
- LV and HV Connections up to 11kv or 33kv
- Gas mains and service laying new connections
- Water mains and service laying new connections
Responsibilities for the Multi-Utility Project Manager will include:
- Ensure projects are managed from start to finish
- Adhere to company standards, safety procedures, and policies whilst delivering a competent service to the client
- Ensure all health and safety is met and working towards section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Achieve targets and keep up with companies' delivery timescales
- Client facing interaction
- Budget management
- Management of subcontractors and also you will have direct reports such as Site Managers, Supervisor, etc.
- Reporting directly to the commercial team and also regional managers
Requirements:
- End to end Project Manager experience (From site acceptance to completion)
- Experience in delivering Electrical (11kv or 33kv), Gas or Water mains and services to new connections projects
- Good knowledge of street works/traffic management
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- SMSTS/SSSTS or Prince 2/APM qualification
- Qualifications in SHEA Power, Gas or Water, National Water Hygiene, and Substation access are desirable but not essential
- Budget Awareness & deadline focussed
- Client Facing
What this is offering:
- A salary of 60,000 to 65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Company vehicle and fuel card/ car allowance.
- 25days holiday (+ public/bank holidays)
- Flexible working with site/office visits / WFH 2 days per week
- Monday to Friday 40hrs per week
- IT Equipment and PPE Provided
