Are you a graduate with a passion for Psychology or Mental Health? Are you eager to gain practical experience in a specialist school setting? Academics LTD is partnering with a remarkable school in Reading that provides tailored, high-quality support for children aged 5 to 18 with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school is seeking a compassionate and driven individual to join their team as an Autism Specialist, working closely with SEN practitioners and psychologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with external professionals, including psychologists, to deliver targeted support.
  • Help students build emotional regulation and social interaction skills.
  • Provide assistance to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for working with children and in the field of SEN.
  • Maintain a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in Psychology or Mental Health.
